Multiple positions: Specialists Russian Art, NYC Auction House

For our renowned auction house client's New York City office,
we are seeking numerous Specialists for the Russian Art Department.
The successful candidates will be responsible for generating business;
reviewing incoming inquiries; writing catalogue essays; participating
in catalogue production and layout; and coordinating sales, among
other duties.
The ideal applicants will possess a BA in Art History or equivalent
with an MA strongly preferred, at least 3 years experience in an
auction house or Russian art-related field and demonstrated ability
in appraising property and generating business.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and fluency in English
and Russian are essential.  Salary TBD. Send resume

+++ Accountant, NYC Art Gallery ++++

For our prominent Chelsea art gallery client we are seeking an
Accountant.
The successful applicant will work closely with the gallery director
on all aspects of day-to-day accounting, including accounts receivables
and payables; generating sales invoices; bank reconciliation; and other
related duties. Some client interaction expected; excellent
communications skills a must.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of previous
gallery-related experience and knowledge of Artbase; strong
MS office and ACCPAC database skills required.
Salary commensurate with experience plus benefits. 
An excellent position with flexibility at one of the city's top
galleries.
