I am looking for feedback on how people are planning for shipments to the European Union when sending crates made before the new restrictions were in place. We are an American art museum with a sister institution in France and because of the amount of shipments we have each year, it is more economical for us to maintain our crates and store them on premises.

Our crates have the restricted wood on the battens and we are leaning towards fumigation rather than heat-treatment for these crates. I imagine by spring the new EU restrictions will be in full force. Is anyone in a similar situation, and if so, how are you planning to comply with these restrictions?

Thank you in advance for your response.
