Well, I will admit personal bias here.

I live in Nashville where Comcast is the major provider, and I tend to
be a little skeptical of anything being "out of the goodness of their
heart" as it were. I am unused to them being quite so charitable so
you might want to investigate these specials a bit more to verify they
are as community beneficial as they assert.
