Cataloguer
For our renowned Chicago auction house client we are seeking to fill several
Cataloguer positions.  The successful applicants will prepare catalogues for
sales of art, decorative arts, jewelry and fine furniture, researching
artist/designer biographical materials; provenance; dates; historic and
aesthetic context; other relevant information.  The ideal candidate will
have a BA in art history and at least 2 years experience, preferably in
cataloguing or related, at an auction house or art/antiques gallery.
Excellent written English and communications skills and the ability to work
the deadline are essential.  Some publication history a plus.  Salary to 45K
with benefits.  Resume, cover letter and three references to
