At the Indiana University Conference on Historic Preservation last fall
there was a talk on preserving historic theaters by Dan Pierotti, listed in
the program as a consultant who specializes in the preservation of theaters
and related buildings. He was/is? working on the Morris Civic Auditorium in
South Bend where the conference took place, and he talked about the issues of
intended use of the facilities and making compromises between preservation and
modifying a building to accommodate current needs so that it can function
effectively by modern standards.

The address listed for him in the conference materials is
            Daniel L. Pierotti and Co.
            1836 Summit Ave.
            Madison, WI 53705
   Phone (608) 251-7698

If you want to find out about the organization that employed him, the Historic
Landmarks Foundation of Indiana will probably know. The phone number of their
South Bend office is (219) 232-4534.

Hope this helps! Good Luck.
Carolyn Brady
