I wasn't sure if introducing oneself on museum-l was proper etiquette, but I
saw other people doing it (yeah yeah, and if other people were jumping off a
bridge would I?  Thanks mom).
 
I'm a first year museum studies grad student at Univ Nebraska-Lincoln.  My
interest lies in natural history museums and I seem to be leaning towards
collections management.  On the other hand, I'm rediscovering a love of zoos
which, according to my profs, are considered museums.  Hmm.    We'll see what
happens.
 
I'm enjoying reading the posts here on museum-l.  A museum newsgroup would be
great - then it wouldn't take 12 minutes to get all of the museum-l mail off
of AOL.
