Michael,
I'll give you the short answer and if you need more details, please contact me directly.

Storage - Ideally, physically separate from other collections, properly marked and in boxes and bags to contain any possibly loose materials.

Display - Only physically sound items on display, only when really necessary, displayed with sufficient distance between the artifact and the visitor so that physical contact is highly unlikely and the attenuation of the radioactivity over that distance reduces exposure to acceptable levels.  Inside a case whenever possible.

Handling - Wear disposable surgical gloves and be aware of what else you're touching such as your face or hair.
