Judy,    Try the Institute of Museum Services--I believe they now have a
fairly detailed survey ('92 or '93) with just this kind of info . . . and
good luck with your county commissioner (maybe s/he won't be re-elected, as
you know being against museums is now quite politically incorrect.)   Jim
