Concering the statement below there are libraries in DC, and to my
knowledge the Smithsonian (the institution that the posters belong to)
 has a little string of libraries (along w/ other mus.) and if they
don't have it they can use this thing called InterLibrary Loan.  Also I
have lurked in the libraries of Georgetown U and GW (of course you have to
jump thru a hoop to get in),  then there are libraries in the 'burbs......

But if you can't get access to your own institution's library I really do
feel for you.
