Hi Pat;

Would you mind listing for us what you consider the "key five items of
information?"  I can see Accession Number, Object Description and
Location, and can imagine a lot of other useful data, but can only guess
at what other two would constitute key pieces of info.  Date checked and
staff person checking, perhaps?

With a collection this large, it is worth, I think, spending some time
piloting different levels of recoring. At around 500 objects an hour,
including all transporting, box opening, repacking, data checking, etc.
I don't think you will get far beyond the key five items of information,
unless you have a large (12+) team of permanent staff.
