Curatorial Assistant

The Camden County Historical Society seeks a well-motivated individual, who
is able to work as a member of a team, for a part time position.  The person
hired will have variety of responsibilities including the care and
maintenance of Pomona Hall (an 18th century Georgian style house) its
collections and a county museum and the accessioning and cataloging of items
into the Society's collections.  On Sunday's this individual will act as
staff docent at CCHS, greeting visitors and giving tours of the Society's
exhibit areas.

Requirements: A Bachelors degree in History or other humanities based
discipline is preferred.  Basic computer skills including word processing and
data base entry are a must.  Curatorial education and or experience are a
plus. Salary will be based on experience.  All interested individuals should
