                Conservator- National Museum of Health and Medicine

                        Museum seeks a conservator to work in a newly
completed conservation lab on its collections of historical medical
instruments, archival materials, and anatomical specimens.  Museum
collections range from Civil War medical instruments and bone specimens to
electron microscopes, wax models, and an extensive photograph collection.
Responsibilities include assessment and treatment, as well as exhibition and
loan support. This mid-sized museum is located in northwest Washington, DC,
near Rock Creek Park and Silver Spring, Maryland.

                        Master's degree in conservation required and minimum
of 1-3 years of full-time museum employment preferred.  Excellent salary,
