Position Description:
The Registrar oversees and tracks owned and curated/repository collections and objects that enter and leave MNA as acquisitions, loans or deaccessions. The Registrar produces legal paperwork related to these transactions and helps coordinate exhibits. The Registrar will help with other collections management tasks as needed including housekeeping and IPM (Integrated Pest Management). The Registrar supervises and trains registration interns, students and volunteers and interacts with Collections staff, Curators, Public Program and Exhibits staff as well as museum colleagues at other institutions and museum patrons.
