We offer 45 minute programs for early childhood, 1 hour for 1st grade, and 1 1/2 hours for all other programs, which we can tailor to teacher's time needs.  Our tours have three major components - gallery discussion (very interactive), a gallery activity which builds on the
discussion, an art project.  Teachers who need shorter time periods usually leave off the project.  We begin with a short orientation underneath our Chihuly chandelier where we go over rules, elements of art discussion using the chandelier, and introduction to the theme of the tour.

All tours are prearranged, and we develop them using the Manhattan, KS school curriculum which usually helps teachers and students focus.  I often work with teachers to develop tours and curricula and we have published two curricula books using our tour programs as a base.

My director and board are entirely supportive of our efforts to work with school children.  We aim for a 1/3 split between our three major audiences - schools, University,
and general public.
