The portable foghorn is available at most Wal-Marts and such, hardware or
boating items -- it comes with an aerosol can to provide the blast of air.
For just a few bucks we have several panic buttons linked to our sheriff's
dept. In almost 20 years, the only time they've been used is when a
volunteer accidentally pushes one -- about once a year. Check with your
nearest police & get their advice. They're usually pretty adept at coming
up with low cost solutions.
