The Pink Palace Family of Museums' flagship the Pink Palace Museum is studying the feasibility of converting its collection management (CM) system from Mac format to PC format. The 55K specimen collection represents a survey of Mid-South archaeology, botany, geology, paleontology, history, zoology). I am interested in discussing with colleagues the following:
1. Have you converted a CM system from Mac to PC? What year?
2. What PC software did you convert to? Comments?
3. What was the final dollar cost of converting?
4. Would you be willing to discuss these "conversion" issus with me on the telephone?
Thanks,
Wesley Creel
