At our small  museum the inventory (archives) and record of donations by contributors have been entered into File Maker Pro 4, since the 1990's. A"recovered" version is currently being used which has problems. For example you have to click inside certain text blocks in order to read the entry and it always defaults to a particular entry when you try to edit, for example an address. The situation is that we need to understand our options for transferring our information to new software and computers which have not been purchased.
