I have been asked by some Russian colleagues, for sources of materials
used in painting restoration and for books discussing the techniques
involved in doing painting restoration. (They were also interested in
computer programs that would help document the process visually.)

They currently use colours from Fille Maimeri & Co, Italy (Maimeri
Restauro), but are looking for something comparable or better that is a
reliable source. They are also looking for tempera paint that does not
have a colour shift when it dries.

I still have to overcome getting the materials through customs and
getting payment for them, but that seems rather a routine process.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you
