Hi, Kristin;
Be very careful here; you could be setting yourself up to fall into a pretty sticky situation here. The loan should only be returned to the original lender, or his/her power-of-attorney. If the lender is dead, the loan should be returned to the executor of the estate. It's his/her job to deal with the dispersal of deceased's property, not yours, and not the heirs.

Does anyone have a form that allows one heir to give the other heir
permission to remove the collection?
