A new, on-line Science magazine, geared to students in grades 4 through 7, has premiered this year.

SPIGOT Science Magazine is published on-line five times per year in September, November, January, March and May.  It is a free magazine published to help students become more aware of science and to encourage them to pursue study in this field.

Articles from this publication may be used in schools or homeschooling without permission.  Articles may not be distributed for commercial use without the written permission of Daval Publications, LLC.

Each issue has a theme. The theme for the first issue in January/February was "Water." The theme of the second issue in March/April was "Trees."

I was asked to contribute an article for the May/June issue, which has the theme "The Universe." My article, "How We Learn about the Universe," is featured on page 18 of the 28-page issue.
