Is this going to hurt much?

Novice computer-ite making 1st attempt at connecting on Museum-l.

I'm a grad student in Museum studies at the University of Toronto
doing a 3 month internship at the Art Gallery of Ontario in
Programs and Interpretation.I am trying to contact museum/gallery
people who are building interesting bridges out into their
communities. There's a ton of info published on the philosophy
of community consultation/ advisory boards etc., but I'd like to
talk with people who have actually tried exhibits or programs
(hugely successful or not so) that have a high level of
community participation (not necessarily attendence), in
either the creation or implementation of the offering.
Please suggest people/programs that I should investigate.
Please respond directly, I will post a summary of my findings
to the group in July,
thanks... Judy Koke e-mail: [log in to unmask]
