Hello Beth Ann --

I am director (by title -- my duties are basically those of manager) of Fort
Dalles Museum in The Dalles, Oregon. The main museum building is an 1856
U.S. Army officer's house which has been owned by the State of Oregon for
nearly 100 years, but will be transferred to Wasco County soon. The museum
complex is administered through an appointed city/county commission much as
is the public library.

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.

Paula Kuttner
