        Greetings All,
Could someone from the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh tell me
whether or not the diorama "Camel-Driver Attacked By Lions" is still on
exhibit there? Also, I am trying to pin down its provenience-I know that
it is of European origin, ca. mid 19th century, but that is as much as I
have been able to find out. The diorama was mentioned in A.E. Parr's
article "Realism and Romanticism in Museum Exhibits", Curator6/2, 1963.
                        Thanks very much in advance,
                                        Fielding Freed
