VISITOR EXPERIENCE MANAGER
Hillwood Museum & Gardens seeks an experienced visitor services and volunteer management professional for the new full-time position of Visitor Experience Manager.  The Manager will uphold the museum's mission and core values for high standards and has the responsibility and authority to manage all aspects of the public operation to ensure a positive visitor experience.  The Manager will work daily with all departments in the Interpretation Division to develop and implement the orientation for all museum visitors, conduct visitor studies, manage the Interpretation Volunteer Program (160 volunteers), and supervise the Visitor Center Assistant.

Job requirements include: a bachelors degree (masters degree in museum studies or education a plus), 5-8 years experience in a museum or customer services field, superior communication and judgment skills, an exceptional ability to listen actively to visitors and be responsive to their needs and expectations, and solid experience in volunteer and staff management.  Candidates must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday, and occasional Mondays, evenings, and Sundays.  Salary and benefits are competitive.  Position is available immediately.
