TRAVELING TEACHER (History Education Coordinator, Position 00091)
The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation has an opening for a skilled teacher
who will travel throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia presenting
hands-on educational programs to students.  Will work with a variety of
ages, abilities and grade levels.  SALARY:  $25,882-$30,248 with full
state benefit package. TO QUALIFY: Must possess knowledge of teaching
methods and techniques, ability to apply these methods, ability to
develop curriculum based educational programs for all levels, knowledge
of management practices and principals, good oral and written
communication skills, knowledge of training and evaluation techniques,
and ability to deal with all levels of professional, management staff,
and general public.  Teaching experience in a museum setting along with
knowledge of American colonial history presferred.  EXTENSIVE TRAVEL IS
REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.  TO APPLY: Submit Virginia State employment
