University of Leicester
Department of Museum Studies

Thanks to funding we have secured from the Arts and Humanities Research
Council (AHRC), the department is very pleased to announce that it is
offering a FULLY-FUNDED PhD opportunity for someone to study with us
starting in the 2005-6 academic year, for the next three years (full-time)
or five years (part-time).

All tuition fees would be paid for by the grant, with a further GBP12,000
p.a. maintenance grant being offered to the successful applicant.

The project is called "Sustaining public-facing 'digital assets' in
museums", and I will be co-supervisor with Dr. Andrew Sawyer (from mwr
Ltd.)

Full details of the project, its generous funding, and what we are looking
for from applicants can be found at:
http://www.le.ac.uk/museumstudies/study/fundedphd.htm

The deadline for applications is 13 June.

Other Opportunities for PhD study or Masters Degree/Diploma, either in
Leicester, UK. or by distance learning at:
