I have been asked to look into the logistics of getting our entire
collection appraised.  I have a few questions that I hope someone out
there could help me with.

Are there companies/entities that specialize in this sort of thing?  If
so, where could I find this information?  How much does this cost?  Is it
usually by the item or by the hour?

The collection consists primarily of excavated artifacts but we do have
approximately 1200 ethnographic pieces.
