**  Medieval bones yield 1000-year-old leprosy genome
The achievement opens the way for studies of even older leprosy bacteria and

A Taiwanese museum opened an exhibition on World Oceans Day Saturday 
showcasing Taiwan's only two displays of dugongs, a rare torpedo-shaped 
marine mammal believed to have been the basis of mermaid legends

**  Pompeii Live to be screened globally
The British Museum has said 1,000 cinemas across the world will screen a 
recording of Pompeii Live, a tour of its exhibition of Roman life before a 
devastating volcanic eruption

**  Museum hosts bushfires collection
So far there are 900 objects and interviews, most from Black Saturday, which 
include melted glass from a survivor's dream home, old cameras recovered 
from the wreckage of the Marysville historical society, and street numbers 
from a home's front gate which survived while the house was destroyed
