Having picked your brains on the topic of George Brown last week, I feel I
should introduce myself to everyone.
 
I am presently at Oxford University (UK) doing a masters in Ethnology and
Museum Ethnography.  My previous MA was from Edinburgh University (Scotland)
in Arabic.  My main interest is in material culture of the Middle East and
North Africa, particularly jewellery.  I have undertaken fieldwork in the
Arabian Gulf and in Egypt.
