Hi Audra:

I prefer a more open-ended approach, rather than putting people on the
spot.

By asking on Museum-L, those who wanted to provide a genuinely helpful
response chose to do so.  Those who want to remain silent may choose to
do so, rather than get stuck in a potentially awkward situation (i.e.,
if I contacted them directly and they do not want to discuss it).

could get this list and contact the institutions directly
