Actually, a crime has been committed. It is called fraud. While one can argue that people have a right to express their opinion, no matter how erroneous, people have no right to misrepresent facts. The fact is, that creationism is not science and therefore no one with a shred of professional ethics could be involved in perpetrating this fraud. Creationism could, at best, be called a religious mythology, but it sure is not a Christian mythology (read the Nicean Creed if you don't believe me). Yet, it claims to be a "science"--that is the fraud.

Most important, from a museum perspective, is that the Creationism Theme Park is using the title of a "Museum" while violating many major fundamental aspects of the profession. Example: No self-respecting museum professional would be involved labeling a fossil artifact that is 50 million years-old, as being "created" on "x" day. The creators of the intellectual monstrosity that is this "museum" should be severely sanctioned by the museum community for misappropriating the title museum, which has a degree of respectability in our society.

I would have expected a howl of protest from museum professionals in regards to this misappropriation. The lack of such, shows, to me, the extremely low level of intellectual rigor that is standard in the profession.
