I checked the NY Times site out early today.  It looks fantastic.
Unlike many newspapers with Web sites, the NY Times has a wide
selection of stories, and they are of significant length.

If you look you'll also discover that they will soon offer the ability
to search back issues and download articles (for a fee).  Also an
electronic clipping service will soon be made available (also for a
fee).

It's well worth checking out.
