Hi Jennifer,

Have you checked the Benton Foundation's Best Practices Toolkit website, by
any chance? There might well be some good leads there. You can find a link to
that website in the Museum Marketing Tips links library, where there are also
links to a number of individual articles about online fundraising and charity
malls. (They're in the "website development, promotion and e-marketing"
section of the links library.)

Hope this helps.

>For a fund raising class with Robert Goler, I am writing a research paper on

the relationship between arts organizations and online charity malls. In

particular, I noticed on igive.com that several museums and performing arts

organizations are listed as recipients.

I'm interested in hearing from any of you who have received contributions

from igive.com or another online charity portal. How has this relationship

worked out? If you have not had direct experience with online charity malls,

is your museum considering it? Why or why not?

Many thanks,

Jennifer
