Hello all!

I am a graduate student in the Museum Studies program at The George Washington University and am working on a policy for museums regarding the display of sensitive images on the internet. I was hoping that there would be some listserv members who work for museums with such a policy in place or who are in the process of developing one. I am particularly interested in criteria for the display of complex, disturbing, and uninterpreted material on the web. I am defining 'material' broadly, and therefore include art, historical or anthropological photographs, sacred objects, etc.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance and information you could provide on this subject. Feel free to contact me off-list.

Sincerely,
Tracy Sullivan
