To museums, art collectors and/or art investors:

Available for sale - an original bronze relief by the noted French artist
Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The item is an original bronze relief entitled
"La Danseuse au Tambourin" (Woman with Tamborine III) by the noted artist
Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919).

This piece of art is the last work created by Renoir in 1918, the year
before his death. Originally created in terra-cotta it was never cast in
bronze. The original terra-cotta was discovered at Christies in 1984 by
Dr. Ronald K. Parker. Molds were prepared by Arthur Bruce Hoheb, former
Director for Restoration at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York).

The original terra-cotta is owned by Redding Fine Art, Ltd. The Publisher
and distributor of the bronze sculpture is Stephen Byer & Associates, Inc.
The bronze sculptures were cast with the collaboration of the Renoir
family - the executors of his estate. The works are not reproductions but
are original bronze pieces cast posthumously.

A public edition was made of 220 pieces while a museum edition was made
of only 99 pieces. This bronze is the last piece of the museum edition
available; it is 29 1/4 inches x 17 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches unframed. It
(all the museum editions) is framed in a hand-crafted, gold-leaf, antiqued
frame. Weight is 125 pounds. Price is $30,000 (thirty-thousand Dollars).

The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity of course. In
fact a whole casebound portfolio is included with the artwork; including a
volume with the certificate and a photograph of the artist circa 1918.
Also included are reproductions of some of his letters, a 12 page booklet
with technical aspects and specifications, and a monograph on buying art
(written by the publisher).

Shipping is included in this price to locations within the USA. Outside
the USA shipping will be extra. Thanks, Harvey Abrams.
