hi all-

i wasn't sure if you were interested in visiting museums that are very
well known and popular with tourists, or personal faves in the manhattan
area. if you are interested in the former, i might suggest two of the
larger museums in manhattan: the metropolitan museum of art and the
museum of modern art. outside manhattan is the also large brooklyn museum
of art. the met and moma are probably the best known museums, but, of
course, there are many, many, many excellent museums - are you looking for
any with specific artists, collections, media, times periods, etc.?

meryl
