Dear Museumlites,

Could be of some peripheral museological interest that the funeral
activities of last week included two museums at the same time: "Museum of
25th May" in Belgrade, established upon inventory of late Yugoslav
president Josip Broz Tito's protocolar gifts who is buried nearby (pieces
were catalogued by ethnologists), and City Museum of Pozarevac which cares
upon extramural "Petar Dobrnjac Legacy", with late Serbian president
Milosevic family house included in ambiental neighbourhood, that was
established by his widow in exile dr. Mira Markovic.

At the first museum late Serbian president and war crimes indictee's coffin
was exposed, and at the second place he was actually buried.

Ironical public reaction is included at Belgrade Radio B92's website:
"Don't be angry that Sloba was exposed in the Museum, because it has
educational quality - this made possible to his followers to visit museum
for a first and probably also for a last time, and to experience a museum
and what it is alike." (by Ivan, 18.3.2006 14:07, at:

"Grave at Ethnopark site" is article published by "Danas" daily from
Belgrade, at http://www.danas.co.yu/20060320/hronika1.html
