The Director of Public Information designs, edits, and oversees the production of museum publications, including newsletters, announcements, exhibition invitations, and other printed materials. He/she oversees the museum’s website and other electronic marketing promotional initiatives.

The Director of Public Information is responsible for media relations for the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, including print, broadcast, and electronic media, as well as direct-to-consumer appeals, promotions, and information. This individual initiates and responds to media contacts with the overall objective of promoting a positive image and understanding of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and its exhibitions and programs. 

Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.  Experience working with websites, social media, and design issues.

Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferable.

Salary commensurate with experience.
