Nice poem, to me, however, mail-list discussions are more like
sand-castles, edifices erected and bombarded, eventually washed away by the
oncoming tide of other discussions which in their turn lay foundations for
subsequent structures.

The only other poem I've seen on this list is the one I placed (eliciting
considerable objection by some who thought list etiquette was breached), a
parody/take-off of T.S.Eliot on indexing -- better suited for the thread on
"simple names," now ongoing.  To find it, search the archives for "OLD
POSSUM'S ART REFERENCE TOOL"
