Hello--

For an interpretive plan for a historic site, I'm seeking examples of
the following:

Object theater or other sound/light installations in period rooms.
I've seen a number of object theaters in museum settings, but we're
looking to learn more about the possibilities and challenges of such
an installation in a historic interior. We're interested in
learning both about technical issues and about visitor reaction.

Contemporary art exhibitions connected with historic sites. For
instance, the Lower East Side Tenement Museum has a program where it
works with local artists to create installation work related to its
mission. We're looking for other examples of the same type of thing.

Thanks for any help! Please feel free to reply off list.
