Norwich College (Montpelier, VT) also offers a distant learning program where
you develop your own study program. I just completed my MS in
museology/museum
studies. You can take the course where you live, but every quarter have to
meet
with your core advisor and other students in your region, then regular
meetings with
your field advisor. I used various agendas from other universities teaching
museum
studies, then added specific topics/subjects to make the course fit my
desire. It
is an intense, expensive...but a fun experience. What is also nice about
it...when
you move (as many of us do in museum work) the college goes with you...and you
don't have to change schools. John Martinson, This Is The Place Heritage
Park,
