Community and Public Relations
Become the public face and representative of the Neon Museum and a leader among Las Vegas, national, and international philanthropic communities.
Serve as the organization’s most authoritative media representative in film, television, radio, and print.
Cultivate productive, mutually beneficial partnerships with peer organizations, cultural and educational institutions, local government agencies, and commercial entities to attract new supporters and investors in the Museum’s collection and programs.

Program Development
Increase visitation, expand the collection, and promote innovation and growth in the Museum’s programs.
Provide curatorial oversight for the collection of Southern Nevada signage and sign-related artifacts and paraphernalia.
Direct restoration projects and work closely with key scholars and community members to ensure historical accuracy.
Ensure strong collection maintenance policies and procedures in accordance with AAM standards.
	Oversee the design of the Museum’s collection and exhibit space.
Direct and oversee the design, development, delivery, marketing, and assessment of the Museum’s existing and new programs.

Fundraising and Sales
Serve as the Museum’s top fundraiser and ensure the continued growth of charitable revenue among all constituencies, including corporate, foundation, individual, and membership-based giving.
Build a new level of engagement across the enterprise and maximize key relationships to generate resources and expand programs.
Oversee continued growth in tour visitorship while ensuring high quality standards.
Advance growth in a comprehensive range of revenue-generating services and products, such as commercial photo shoots and corporate and private event rentals.

Human Resources
Champion a culture of strong teamwork, innovation, commitment, and ethical standards through effective communication and mentoring.
Continue to build a staff structure and a diverse, highly motivated team that supports the Museum’s strategic growth.
Provide ongoing leadership, training, and support to the Board of Trustees, standing committees, volunteers, and staff members.
Provide oversight for all human resources functions, including the development of job descriptions; hiring and terminations; regular performance evaluations; and legal and regulatory compliance.

Financial Management
	Provide business discipline and accountability for the day-to-day management of the Museum and its facilities.
	Work with the Board and staff to develop annual budgets for Board approval.
	Provide oversight to the Finance Director in the development and maintenance of sound financial practices.
