WOuld Virtual Reality, or a 360 degree panorama count?

Try http://www.mariner.org/qtvr.html for a look at 7 of the most recent
panorama's which we have placed online for the public to try, and to get
a feel if the virtual visitors appreciate the effort creating these
representations of our exhibits for people who cannot attend in person.

1 was of an artifact specifically, which the web user can rotate fully
around, in order to get a better look at the sides and the reverse! Try
that with a mounted painting in a gallery!
