I have proposed a new newsgroup uk.arts.museums. There is a discussion
in uk.net.news.config going on now. I need support from people
involved in UK Museums - please lend your support.

The argument is basically that a lot of people think that the
heiraqrchy should depend on what is being displayed, they dont see
museum management as a branch of the arts but as part of education or
recreation.

If you're in museums and in the UK please follow and contribute to the
discussion.
