I think it would be a great idea for you to make a Directory
of MUSEUM-L subscribers. It would be very convenient for people
who want to contact each other outside of the list (and I see
evidence of this happening all the time here on MUSEUM-L).
 
My only thought is that "nuisance" contacts may be a problem.
Is there any way that your directory could be made available
to MUSEUM-L subscribers alone??
 
I can understand people who do not want to be part of the
Directory. But "being snitty" is just bad manners. For shame!
