Position Open:  Research and Stewardship Coordinator
                        Donor/Member Relations Team
                        Development and Membership Unit

Available:           August 9, 1996


Summary:    The Research and Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for
providing and maintaining data on foundations, corporations and individuals
capable of major gifts to annual, capital, and planned giving programs.  This
individual also coordinates all acts of stewardship, tracking and auditing
systems which assure the institution's fiduciary responsibility as assumed by
the acceptance of a gift and required for the continued goodwill of the
donor.

Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
 Demonstratable organizational abilities and writing skills, knowledge of
word processing, database and mail merge functions, experience in use of hard
and electronic research resources required.  Knowledge of Dialog preferred.
 Previous research in corporate, foundation, and government funding sources,
and experience in data evaluation required.  The successful applicant will
also exhibit an ability to manage details and multiple tasks accurately and
the ability to interact effectively with other team members.
