I would appreciate any and all responses to this basic survey. I have
researched museums in my surrounding area and would now like to have a broader
scope for my research purposes. I am working on a project for an Educational
Programming Museum Studies course and am trying to find out the different
educational programs that are offered by small museums on their limited budgets
and staff (small museum defined by AAM as 5 or fewer full-time paid or upaid
staff, or an annual operating budget of under $250,000).

1. Does your institution offer programs for children and/or adults? If so what
kind or type of programs and with what frequency?

2. What kind of special activities does you institution sponsor or participate
in? (ex. festivals, historic days, workshops)

3. Do different institutions in the community seek your museum's participation
in their curriculums or does the museum have to actively promote itself for the
escalation of educational programming? Institutions in the community could
include schools, nursing homes, churches, etc.

4. Who coordinates educational programming in your institution--museum staff or
docent/volunteers?

Please include the name of your institution along with city, state, and what
qualifies the institution as "small" (staff, budget, or both).

Thank you for your help, time, and participation in answering these questions.
