Hi Jenifer,
I'm studying and working at the Institute for History of Medicine at the
University in Kiel/Germany and will send you a note of a book soon. I saw
it in the documentation-room of our collection, but that's about two miles
from my location now.
Perhaps you try to contact the Museum Boerhaave in Leiden /Netherlands
meanwhile. I think they have a collection of waxmodels.
Do you have any experience of pathologic organs in glasses (what does
"Praeparate" mean in english?)? If so, I would be glad for information.
Bye
    Susanne
