Re: quilting photos, you might want to try the Museum of International
Folk Art, P.O. Box 2087, Santa Fe, NM 87504, (505) 827-6350.  Ask for
Judy Sellars, she is the librarian/interim photo archivist.  MOIFA has
an excellent textile collection and has done exhibitions on quilting
before.  As a word of warning, though, they are currently renovating
their library and the photoarchives may be unavailable until they are
done.

If this doesn't work for you, I know two quilting experts locally that I
could put you in touch with, but they don't have e-mail.
