I'm trying to find information/advice regarding the transfer of card catalogue
data into a digital format such as Excel. I have been looking into the option of
outsourcing the project to offshore data management companies in India.
There also seem to be well-used comapanies in the US, such as Backstage
Library Works who would tackle the transfer of approx. 33,000 cards.

Does anyone have any experience in managing a project such as this? I have
talked to quite a few British institutions who have used the services of
Backstage Library Works, and would be interested in finding references
regarding other companies who provide similar services.

Best,
Sarah Redmond
